This extension to the world renowned Bovington Tank Museum involved numerous specialist complex and bespoke features, including but not limited to the following;
Woodmace Worked closely with the Main Contractor, Vinci Construction, to develop ways of pouring concrete in 600mm wide walls at a height of nearly 6m to produce a suitable fine finish insitu cast to exposed coloured concrete walls.
The resulting end product has been credited for its high quality from numerous sources, including the customers that visit the museum.
The complicated nature of the project together with its delivery both on-time and to budget means it can be considered another Woodmace success story.
The other aspects of the project included;
